Kirsten Van Gossum
Kirsten is an expert in the field of data protection and privacy law. She has a rare experience as a lawyer, in-house data protection expert and DPO. In this capacity, she assists her clients in complex data protection issues, such as the development and roll-out of a GDPR-proof multi-channel marketing approach, the implementation of new international data transfer strategies or HR-related organizational issues. Kirsten also provides data protection advice related to the day-to-day business of her clients and supports them in their GDPR compliance strategy. Based on her experience as an in-house lawyer and DPO, she can easily translate companies' data protection needs into a workable and practical approach. Kirsten also has in-depth knowledge of ICT law and ICT contracts and assists clients with all legal aspects of digital transformation.
After several years of in-house experience as a corporate lawyer and DPO, Kirsten rejoined the Brussels Bar in 2021.
