Johan Vandendriessche
Johan Vandendriessche is a recognized expert in the field of ICT law, data protection law, as well as intellectual property law.
The focus of his practice is advisory work on ICT and data protection law, GDPR compliance exercises and the drafting and negotiation of ICT agreements.
He is very active in the ICT sector and regulated sectors, such as the financial sector and energy.
Johan combines his law practice with various academic activities. He is, among other things, professor of ICT law at the University of Ghent. He regularly publishes contributions on ICT law and data protection law. He is a frequent speaker at conferences and seminars and is also active as a lecturer at the Data Protection Institute, where he trains future DPOs in the DPO certification program.
